Audrey Faith Perry McGraw, known simply as Faith Hill. She was born September 21, 1967 in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She is an American country singer, known for her commercial success and also because of her marriage to fellow country singer Tim McGraw.
Faith Hill was seven years old when she had her first public performance. By the time she was a teenager, she was a regular performer at area churches. At seventeen, Faith formed a band that played in local rodeos. She briefly attended college, but quit school to move to Nashville and pursue her dream of being a country singer aged 19.
Faith became the first female country singer in 30 years to hold Billboard's number one position for four consecutive weeks with "Take Me as I Am".
Faith has been asked to sing the theme for Sunday Night Football for the NBC network. The song titled"Waiting All Week For Sunday Night".
Faith Hill is a strong supporter to raise the awareness of the transmission of HIV to unborn children in Africa.
